Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is a free, three-day music festival held each August in historic downtown Fort Collins. The 2017 festival will take place Aug. 11, 12 and 13. The annual festival is co-produced by Downtown Fort Collins Business Association and Bohemian Nights. This free community music festival features 80+ Colorado bands, including headliner performances at the main stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; six stages of entertainment; more than 250 specialty, art and food booths; and a family-centered Kids' Music Adventure and Kids’ World area.

The Rotary Clubs of Fort Collins and Colorado State University are proud to present the Fort Collins Peach Festival. This will be a fun filled day with a 5K Run in the morning and peach-themed activities, entertainment and food all day long!

Pooch Plunge ~ Fort Collins

For one day, dogs run the show at City Park Pool. On the last day that City Park Pool is open, the City of Fort Collins opens up its doors for dogs to swim. Lovingly coined the "Pooch Plunge," this nationally recognized swim day has been a favorite in the Fort Collins community for 14 years. At the Pooch Plunge, dogs and owners are welcomed into City Park Pool. As guests enter the pool, the first 400 visitors receive a doggy bag full of treats and a special magazine publication. Inside, dogs are welcome to swim in a pool full of hundreds of tennis balls. Pet store owners and animal experts host space in the lawn and share their expertise and wares with patrons. And, everyone enjoys the splashing and fun of playing outside on the last day of summer. Tickets will be available for purchase starting 8/11 at

Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival ~ Loveland

The 2017 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival will include the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest, the second annual Cornhole Tournament and all the roasted and boiled non-GMO corn anyone could eat! In addition, people of all ages can enjoy a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are always free and open to the public.

Pets ‘n’ Popsicles ~ Greeley

Centennial Village's baby animals are all grown up! It’s time for the Village’s annual Pets ‘N Popsicles event, August 4-13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. NEW THIS YEAR: The school district’s Kids Eat Free Summer Food Service Program will serve free lunch Aug 4,5,6 and Aug 11,12,13, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to all children ages 1 to 18 years of age, with adult lunches available for just $3.25, while supplies last. Lunches include a sandwich, fruit, vegetable and chocolate milk, which makes picnicking in the shade a super easy and fun time. They will also provide children with a snack from 1 to 3 p.m. on those days.

Admission to the Pets ‘N’ Popsicles event is just $3/person ages 3+ and a Popsicle is included with every paid admission.

Every Friday June 2nd through September 22nd enjoy free live music on the 9th Street Plaza in downtown Greeley. Music typically plays from 6 to 9 pm and Greeley’s famously unique “Go-Cup” service runs 5 to 10 pm. There are also street performers, fire spinners, face painting, balloon artistry, sidewalk chalk and more for the kids!

National Night Out 2017 ~ Windsor-Severance

Similar to a neighborhood watch program, a Block Captain organizes his/her neighborhood and holds an event — an ice cream social, BBQ, corn roast, etc. Events are usually held between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m.

Representatives from the Town of Windsor, the Windsor Police Department and Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue will visit each location and meet the residents of the neighborhood to discuss concerns, answer questions and get acquainted in a casual setting.

Cul de sacs may be blocked off for this event, but not through streets.
